The Heaven of Nine Levels
There are nine kinds of animals in this work: bird, a bird with human face, a bird with human head, a human with feather, human, tiger, frog, giant salamander and fish. Among these nine animals, there is a spatial relationship from sky to ocean. Fish beneath the water represents the deepest level of space. And bird above the sky stands for the highest level. Inside the picture, giant animal would bite small ones, but outside the picture, volumetric relationship between those animals would be reversal, and animals bitten inside would bite those who had bitten them.
In fact, images in The Heaven of Nine Levels suggest the relationship between the laws of strength and powers. Big fish eats small fish, but small one should become bigger one, then it would conversely eat the big one. Relationship of strength always changes at any moment, but order of power would be adjusted constandly with the change of this relationship.
